Coptic Bound Books

Coptic binding dates back to as early as the 2nd century AD. The Copts used a “chain” style of stitching that held folded sheets of papyrus together. Our coptic bound books use Strathmore Drawing paper (130gsm) and 8-10oz English bridle leather for the covers.
